Crimes is the fourth studio album by the American band The Blood Brothers, released on October 12, 2004. It is their second major label album and their first for V2. Produced by John Goodmanson, the album was recorded in two months in the band's hometown of Seattle. Much of the lyrics for the album are a political reaction to the mass media and the military policy of the Bush administration, inspired heavily by the election year of 2004.

The end of the month sees the release of sophomore album High Crimes via Nuclear Blast Records and precedes a short US tour; cue excitement from all sides. THE DAMNED THINGS will release a new album, "High Crimes", on April 26 via Nuclear Blast. The supergroup comprised of members of EVERY TIME I DIE, ANTHRAX and FALL OUT BOY recently confirmed the addition of ALKALINE TRIO bassist Dan Andriano to its ranks. He replaces Josh Newton (EVERY TIME I DIE), who hasn't been part of the band since it was reactivated three years ago. Also gone from THE DAMNED THINGS is guitarist Rob Caggiano (VOLBEAT, ANTHRAX).
