Sherwin Linton - Untangle Your Mind flac album

The Windmills of Your Mind is an album by Paul Motian released on the German Winter & Winter label in 2011. The album was Motian's final release prior to his death in late 2011.

This very successful album earned Sherwin nominations in 1972 and 1973 for Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year by the Country Music Association of Nashville, and the Academy Of Country Music plus high compliments from Johnny Cash himself.

You may remember Sherwin Linton from a photograph accompanying a recent article on doubleneck guitars in this magazine. In it, Linton holds a homemade doubleneck guitar sporting various attachments. I wanted to talk to Linton about that guitar and why he put it together. When I called him, I got a great story not of the guitar itself, but of a specific feature of it, something that would eventually become a well-known piece of gear. The story goes something like this: Linton grew up in South Dakota in the 1950s.
