Lanterns is the third studio album by Ryan Lott under the Son Lux moniker. It was released through Joyful Noise Recordings on October 29, 2013. It peaked at number 13 on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart, as well as number 6 on the Vinyl Albums chart.

Lanterns’ is an album built on the emotional lyrics provided by the distinctive sounds of vocalist Brock Lindow, with a voice that ranges from haunting to damn straight primal and impressive. New fans and old will find it hard not to be in awe of the performance vocally and lyrically given to this album by Lindow. The band have created their seventh full-length album which vocalist Lindow described as: Lanterns is about the fight within us all, forever refusing to sink.

The upcoming album, titled Lanterns, follows 2014’s Time and Trauma and is scheduled to be released in September this year. Alongside the announcement of the new album, the band has also released the first single from the upcoming record, titled Death Eater. Speaking about the new track, vocalist Brock Lindow says, it’s a reflection of self and the dwellings of rock bottom, discovering the tools to dig yourself out, and refusing to let yourself free fall into the abyss of hopelessness
