Morning Glory sees Noel progress as a songwriter on individual tracks but as a whole album DM is far superior. It's far too inconsistent and don't feel like a coherent collection, it's almost feels like a compilation album to me in the way its contains great songs but there is no overall mood to the album and it just feels thrown together. I love listening to DM all the way through and I'm transported to a different time, whereas Morning Glory doesn't do that for me and I cannot listen to it all the way through because 2-3 of the songs are rubbish.
