Russell Hitchcock is the self-titled debut album by Russell Hitchcock, best known as the lead singer of Air Supply, released in 1988. The album didn't reach the charts, though singles "Someone Who Believes in You", "I Can't Believe My Eyes", "The Sun Ain't Gonna Shine Anymore" and "Where Did the Feeling Go?" had minor recognition. As a solo artist, Hitchcock would later release several more singles, the most famous being "Swear to Your Heart" from the film Arachnophobia.

Modestly successful 1960s country artist, who became better known for his radio and television work. His final chart entry, ‘She Sings Amazing Grace’, arrived in 1981 on the Ramblin’ label but he later recorded an album for Audiograph Alive. During his career Hitchcock has achieved far more success from radio and television work than from his recordings. Between 1964 and 1970, he presented The Stan Hitchcock Show which was syndicated and between 1979 and 1983, he hosted Stan Hitchcock From The Ozarks and also started the Heart To Heart programme. In 1982, he was an important member of the team that founded CMT (initially called CMTV) and headed the Nashville operations of the organisation.
