After the Fall is a two-disc live album by American jazz pianist Keith Jarrett recorded with bassist Gary Peacock and drummer Jack DeJohnette. The album was recorded on November 14, 1998 in New Jersey Performing Arts Center but released only in 2018. Chris Pearson of The Times stated "The title refers to Keith Jarrett’s fall into a bout of chronic fatigue syndrome in autumn (or fall) 1996.

Gary Peacock shines on Pete La Roca's buoyant "One For Majid" and with his extended solo on "Autumn Leaves. The trio include two ballads with one of their staples, "When I Fall In Love," closing the collection. The late ECM releases of Jarrett's 1996 solo collection A Multitude of Angels (2016) and After The Fall with DeJohnette and Peacock are tributes to the extraordinary resilience of the pianist. His pre-sabbatical and return are both marked by a relentless determination to perform with his impeccable and unique approach to improvisation

In recent years, pianist Keith Jarrett and ECM have collaborated in releasing varied, important recordings from his performance and private archives. After the Fall, recorded with his iconic "standards trio" with bassist Gary Peacock and drummer Jack DeJohnette, is another. Recorded at a concert in Newark, New Jersey in November 1998, it exists in the space between the group's Tokyo '96 (1997) and Whisper Not (1999). This performance marked Jarrett's return to the stage after a two-year battle with chronic fatigue syndrome. This particular concert was the first Jarrett performed since the 1996 Italian solo performances issued as A Multitude of Angels in 2016.

Keith Jarrett, Gary Peacock and Jack DeJohnette have announced the forthcoming release of their 2CD live concert set After The Fall on 2 March through ECM. A live recording from 1998, After The Fall finds the dextrous and highly-acclaimed trio performing some of the best-loved jazz standards in their own inimitable style.
