The Odyssey is the sixth studio album by progressive metal band Symphony X, released on November 5, 2002 through Inside Out Music. The album is the band's first to be recorded entirely at guitarist Michael Romeo's home studio, The Dungeon. Accolade II" is a sequel to "The Accolade" from The Divine Wings of Tragedy (1997). The title track is the album's grand finale: a 24-minute musical interpretation of Homer's Odyssey, an epic poem about the journey of ancient Greek hero Odysseus.

Odyssey is best remembered for its 1977 disco smash "Native New Yorker," an exuberant gem that brilliantly captures the love/hate feelings New Yorkers have for their city. But those who heard that single on the radio and acquired Odyssey's self-titled debut album in the hope of hearing a lot of similar songs received a major surprise - "Native New Yorker" isn't typical of the LP on the whole. For the most part, Odyssey favors laid-back, gentle soul-pop with a subtle Caribbean flavor and occasional hints of jazz.

Take That’s Odyssey album is a re-imagined greatest hits that takes the listener on a journey through the incredible musical history of one of the UK’s most successful bands of all time. The Odyssey album – produced by Stuart Price – kicks off the celebrations on 23 November and features 27 tracks spanning three decades of the band’s history from their 1992 debut Take That And Party right up to the present day. The album will also feature a host of special guests as well as three brand new tracks, set to continue what is easily one of the greatest British pop stories ever told.
