Adam Makowicz started out his musical career as a classical piano student at the Chopin Conservatory in Krakow Poland. Adam’s playing, and his interactions with Mraz are at times mind-boggling.

Adam Makowicz (born Adam Matyszkowicz; August 18, 1940) is a Polish pianist and composer living in Toronto. He performs jazz and classical piano pieces, as well as his own compositions. After the war, he was raised in Poland.

Adam Makowicz - Unit A (1976). Adam Makowicz and Tomasz Stańko, accompanied by the best rhythm section of that time – Jarzębski and Bartkowski – recorded the album Unit in 1976.
