Haltya Hi there and welcome! Haltya is a musical act by Finnish born musician and sound artist Tommi Sirkiä. The band was originally founded in the mid-nineties by Tommi and former member Jürgen Sachau in Helsinki Finland. Haltya is today considered to be one of the originals in electronic funkadelic psychedelic music style and pioneers of the infamous Soumisaundi. Haltya - Japan Anime Punk Sessions EP. The Haltya Studio, located deep, deep deep down in the fordic norests of Big Mama Nature, has been a safehaven and a livingroom (olo-huone) for yesterday's Hollywood musicians who didn't quite make it in the showbizz. The album consists of various combinations of collaborations and solo handsfree masterbations of the multi ego in Hallutya. All tracks twisturbed and amateurduced at Haltya Studio, Helsinki, Finland. Haltya are Jürgen Sachau and Tommi Sirkiä, a psychedelic trance project from Finland, founded in the mid-nineties. Jurgen has also released under the project name Outolintu, while Tommi has released under the project name Pelinpala. They have also been active under the pseudonyms Justin Space and Frank Further in the more mainstream psytrance project Highpersonic Whomen. Aside from Finland, they have played live gigs in Israel, Austria, Turkey, and elsewhere.

Haltya released their first studio recording on Exogenic Records in 1999 in the form of Project Haltya EP, and received very good feedback and club plays from, among others, Annie Nightingale at BBC Radio One. Their debut studio album Forest Flavor, which came out in 2000, was highly acclaimed by psychedelic electronic music lovers around the world, introducing a new fresh approach to sound imagination at that time.
