They released their debut 'Soap EP' on Acroplane Recordings in May 2010. This EP quickly earned them a good online following with it's huge sound and wealth of ideas. Since then, Baconhead have been busy working on a slew of remixes, the 'Turbo Loaded' beat tape/album released on cassette only, and with the newly released 'Astro Sludge EP' and forthcoming 'Hawaii EP' they team up with Eat Concrete for a series of releases showcasing their sonic agenda. Baconhead 'Cabin Fever' EP. "Since their last release Hawaii, on Eat Concrete, ingenious hip-hop production duo Baconhead (AKA Brain Rays and Hthr) have concerned themselves with the recruitment of a growing hoard of US rappers including Killah Priest and Cappadonna collaborator Empuls, Nongenetic (Shadowhuntaz) and Bloodmouth (Dead Birdz). The results are this woozy, heat-warped EP release influenced by hypnotic experiments and Ballard's Drowned World". Dedicated to Luc 'Bloodmouth' Evans.
