The only difference is that the B sound is voiced and the P sound is voiceless. The voiced B sound (IPA symbol: b) can be found in English words such as bring, bubble, boy, lab, rob, and bicycle. The voiceless P sound (IPA symbol: p) can be found in English words such as jump, pop, top, puppy, purple, tip, and pray. That means that the vocal cords vibrate when you say that letter. You can hear a voiced B sound in words such as "back" and "cab. The letter P is a voiceless sound because the vocal cords do not vibrate. Instead, we use a puff of air to produce the sound. You can hear the P sound in words such as "pack" and "cap. Watch this short video to hear and see the differences between the P and B sounds
Propaganda is an album by English post-punk band the Sound. It was recorded in 1979, before they recorded their debut album Jeopardy, and comprises the earliest material that they recorded. It was not released until April 1999 by record label Renascent, more than 10 years after the band broke up. It was viewed by the band as their true first album. Re-recorded versions of three of the tracks appeared on Jeopardy: "Missiles", "Night Versus Day" and "Words Fail Me".
In physics, sound is a vibration that typically propagates as an audible wave of pressure, through a transmission medium such as a gas, liquid or solid. In human physiology and psychology, sound is the reception of such waves and their perception by the brain. Humans can only hear sound waves as distinct pitches when the frequency lies between about 20 Hz and 20 kHz. Sound waves above 20 kHz are known as ultrasound and is not perceptible by humans.
Is there a difference between the sound of P and J or not? Whether you’re just starting out as a bass player or have many years of experience, your opinion counts here. just the fact the Precision is wired in series and the Jazz is wired in parallel makes a big difference. February 27, 2013 at 8:41 pm Reply. I think it makes no difference in sound. As one person said, it depends on how you set them–both individually and as they relate to each other. You probably know what you want to hear. Then set the amp to all middle, and twiddle the bass knobs until you get that sound. Then tape them! I think there is a difference in tembre (tone quality) between humbucking and active pickups.
If I wire in parallel, it's 4 ohms. I don't see why they should. In fact to my knowledge, which in this field I consider to be rather vast, it will make know difference to the sound. Just make sure you mast the impedance of your speakers to your amp! Get some more opinions though, because I very well could be (and likely am) completely wrong.
You just need to ensure the total load impedance of the speakers in parallel is above the minimum impedance required by the amplifier. For more details on wiring 4 or more speakers to an amplifier see the articles Connecting 4 speakers to an Amplifier, Speaker Selector Switch summary, and my unique Speaker Selector Switch Simulator

We say that sound waves are longitudinal because the movement of molecules take place parallel to the direction that the sound travels in. The speed of sound in a medium depends on the density of the material. Sound travels through air at room temperature and pressure at a speed of about 340 m per second. Typically, sound can travel faster in liquids and even faster in solids. Sound can travel through diamond at a speed of about 12 km per second1. Sound is really a pressure wave, composed of compressions and rarefactions in the molecules that make up the medium.
Sound is a wave and waves have amplitude, or height. Amplitude is a measure of energy. The more energy a wave has, the higher its amplitude. As amplitude increases, intensity also increases. Intensity is the amount of energy a sound has over an area. The same sound is more intense if you hear it in a smaller area. In general, we call sounds with a higher intensity louder. We are used to measuring the sounds we hear in loudness. The sound of your friend yelling is loud, while the sound of your own breathing is very soft. Pitch depends on the frequency of a sound wave. Frequency is the number of wavelengths that fit into one unit of time. Remember that a wavelength is equal to one compression and one rarefaction.
