It was released on November 13, 2006 by Universal Music Group. Disc 1. "La Vie en rose" - 7:29. Send in the Clowns" - 7:35. I Need a Man" - 3:24. All on a Summers Night" - 4:14. Am I Ever Gonna Fall in Love in New York City" - 5:27. Don't Mess with the Messer" - 4:53.

The Ultimate Collection was not intended to be a singles collection, as several single releases are missing (most notably "On Your Knees", the primary single from the album Muse). The Ultimate Collection is more or less an expanded re-issue of Universal's The Grace Jones Story, released earlier that same year, with a few notable changes. Notes: This CD, just like The Grace Jones Story, skips the first two minutes of "Saved", subsequently starting with the first line of the second verse (original length of the track is 7:13). The version of "Slave to the Rhythm" included here is track five on the Slave to the Rhythm album, not the hit single version.

Fame is the second studio album by Grace Jones, released on 7 June 1978 by Island Records. Fame, recorded in Sigma Sound Studios in Philadelphia, consisted of a set of mainstream-oriented disco tracks and repeated the scheme of the previous album

It's not quite ultimate, but it is pretty close, containing three discs of prime Grace Jones, from her 1977 debut through the number one 1993 club single "Sex Drive. Unsurprisingly, since it is so extensive, The Ultimate Collection (a European release from Universal) goes too deep for casual Jones fans.
