R&B vocalist Robert Knight, born in Franklin, Tennessee on April 24, 1945, had one memorable national hit single, Everlasting Love, in 1967 and then barely avoided becoming a legitimate member of the One-Hit Wonder Club by virtue of two 97 Hot 100 entries in 1968, before fading from the scene. To this point, collectors hoping to find - in m. format - all three charters and their B-sides is proving to be impossible. Only With Me - Dot 16256, and Free Me/The Other Half Of Man - Dot 16303 - both in 1961. When, at this point, the group disbanded, Dot put an almost 5-year crimp into Knight's career by filing a lawsuit for breach of contract, a stretch he filled by pursuing a degree in chemistry at Tennessee State University.

Robert Knight (born Robert Peebles, April 24, 1945 – November 5, 2017) was an American singer best known for the 1967 recording of the song "Everlasting Love". Born in Franklin, Tennessee, Knight made his professional vocal debut with the Paramounts, a quintet consisting of school friends. Signed to Dot Records in 1960, they recorded "Free Me" in 1961, a US R&B hit single that outsold a rival version by Johnny Preston. After this initial success, their subsequent releases flopped, resulting in a breakup of the group.

Robert Knight, 1st Earl of Catherlough, KB, (1702–1772), was a British Member of Parliament for Great Grimsby (1734–41, 1762–68), Castle Rising, Norfolk (1747–54) and Milborne Port, Somerset (1770–72). He became successively Baron Luxborough (1745), Viscount Barrells and Earl of Catherlough (both 1763), all titles within the peerage of Ireland. His wife, Henrietta Lady Luxborough, later became well known as a lady of letters, poet and pioneering landscape gardener.

The Other Half of Me Lyrics. Watch my back, cause it will be in a grave next week Who's to know, who's to calculate Life is meant to love and make mistakes If I ever had a side that could bold face lie And get away with it every time It would be the man inside my head Am I here or lost again? I keep telling myself this isn't how the story ends

Washington Times columnist Robert Knight falsely claimed that a lawsuit of the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is an assault on religion that is trying to "force Catholic hospitals to perform abortions. In fact, if the complaint is accurate, it is a straightforward negligence claim that alleges a pregnant woman's life was needlessly put in harm's way when she was denied appropriate care by a Catholic hospital adhering to binding directives of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB). Knight proceeded to distinguish other protected categories, like race and sex, from sexual orientation and gender identity, which "no one would know" about if not for employees' "behavior"

Ты так легко сдаешьс. ou are the other half of me. Ты – вторая половина меня. Cause we've got a different wish at heart. Потому что наши сердца желают разного. The amulet guides us to the other side. Наш талисман ведет нас на ту сторону. When I go down it's you who'll bleed.

Today's Guest: Robert Knight, rock 'n' roll photographer Robert Knight and Slash by Maryanne Bilham Maybe you don’t already know the name of legendary rock ‘n’ roll photographer Robert Knight. But by the end of this half-hour, you won’t be able to forget him. Knight shot the last photographs of guitarist Stevie Ray Vaughan before his fateful plane crash. He took one of the most iconic pictures of Jimi Hendrix. Elton John was once his houseguest. Slash threw a party to celebrate a show of his work

But other performers know the score: Elton John called her "one of the greatest voices of our lifetime," and Madonna has said she is "completely influenced by her harmonic sensibility. Impossibly lush and almost shockingly intimate, Carpenter's performances were a new kind of torch singing, built on understatement and tiny details of inflection that made even the sappiest songs sound like she was staring directly into your eyes. Still, she's a guilty pleasure for many. You have to put something in it to make them move," said Sam Moore, half of the Sixties R&B duo Sam and Dave. Moore boasts a scratchy voice with incredible range - all honey-sweet soul and raw sexuality, gutbucket blues and gritty rock.
