From the Album Come Go With Me, Whispering Bells. The Dell-Vikings were an interracial doo-wop group formed at the Air Force Serviceman's Club in 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA. As the story goes while sitting at the piano in the club founding member Clarence Quick wrote a song called "Come Go With Me". Shortly thereafter the Dell-Vikings recorded the song for Fee-Bee records in Pittsburgh where it became an instant hit. Then Dot records purchased the recording and released it nationally. The tune would spend an impressive 21 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart peaking at #4.
