Hoss is Lagwagon's third album, released on November 21, 1995 by Fat Wreck Chords. It was produced by Ryan Greene. This is the last Lagwagon album to feature guitarist Shaun Dewey before his departure in 1997 and drummer Derrick Plourde before his death in 2005. They would be replaced temporarily by Ken Stringfellow (The Posies) on guitar, and permanently by Dave Raun (RKL) on drums.

Hoss is Lagwagon’s third full-length album, released in 1995. Between 1994 and 1998, Lagwagon released Trashed (’94), Hoss (’95), Double Plaidinum (’97), and Let’s Talk About Feelings (’98). During those 5 years, there was arguably no more talented, harder working punk band in existence. In their prime, Lagwagon aggressively toured and blazed a trail of melodic sympathy through the minds of punk enthusiasts.

Blaze is Lagwagon's sixth album, released in 2003. This album marked their first studio release in five years of absence with Let's Talk About Feelings. The absence was due to frontman Joey Cape being involved with band projects like Bad Astronaut and Me First and the Gimme Gimmes. Lagwagon did not completely disband during that time and briefly reunited in 2002. It was the first Lagwagon album to rank on the Billboard 200, reaching

A Tribute To Lagwagon. Songs in album Lagwagon - Let's Talk About Origins (2010). 1. After You My Friend (Dustbox).

On Hoss, there are no butchered covers, nor are there any half-hearted attempts to bring out the happier side of the rock & roll lifestyle. This is a good thing, though; Lagwagon have a "take no slack" mentality without coming across as macho tough guys. In other words, these guys want to be taken more seriously without falling into the category of being another Fat Wreck Chord clone band. They pull it off with Hoss, even if it still has that Lagwagon style of fast-paced pop-punk and harmonies.

Everything Lagwagon puts is a fucking masterpiece but Hoss, alongside with Trashed, takes the crown. Awesome album, can't stop listening it since 2001
