While the album did not match the success of her previous album in such markets as the United States and Australia, it did however become a success in several European countries. Folklore spawned five singles: "Powerless (Say What You Want)", "Try", "Força", "Explode" and "The Grass Is Green". The album has sold three million copies worldwide.

Greg Byrne (athletic director). Greg Byrne (born November 29, 1971) is the athletic director at the University of Alabama. Prior to this appointment, Byrne was the athletic director at the University of Arizona, the athletic director at Mississippi State University from 2008–2010 after serving as associate athletic director for the preceding two years. Previously, Byrne held associate director of athletics positions at University of Kentucky, and Oregon State University.
