Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (NFAK): Largest Collection of Qawwali, Sufiana Kalaam, Hamd, Naat and Ghazal MP3 songs. ﺭﺩﻭ urdu, ﭙﻨﺠﺎﺑﻰ punjabi, farsi, hindi. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is unarguably the most famous Pakistani artmannist of Qawwali. His musical projects with Peter Gabriel introduced Qawwali to the western audiences, in which he experimented with blending eastern sounds over western instruments. His admirers are as far as Japan, where he was considered a reincarnation of laughing Buddha due to his strong resemblance

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (Urdu: نصرت فتح على خاں, born October 13, 1948, died August 16, 1997), was a Pakistani musician, primarily a singer of Qawwali, the devotional music of the Sufis (a mystical tradition within Islam). He featured in Time magazine's 2006 list of 'Asian Heroes'. Traditionally, Qawwali has been a family business. Nusrat's family has an unbroken tradition of performing qawwali for the last 600 years.

Redirected from Nusret Fateh Ali Khan). Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (Urdu/Punjabi: نصرت فتح علی خان), born Anjum Pervaiz Ali Khan (13 October 1948 – 16 August 1997), was a Pakistani vocalist and musician, primarily a singer of Qawwali, a form of Sufi Islamic devotional music.

Most of Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan's early music was recorded with Rehmat Gramophone House later turned RGH Label. Throughout the ’70s and early ’80s Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan released hundreds of cassettes, most of them containing one or two lengthy songs.

Unlike the Qawwali: The Vocal Art of the Sufis series, where the party takes its luxurious time in immersing itself in praising Allah, studio-recorded Nusrat can often feel rushed, as if the party was singing qawwali for the sake of the recording rather than for the sake of religious praise. Thankfully, 1989's Shahen-Shah is different. With Nusrat's voice in fine form and the recording providing the right touch of reverb, this CD leads listeners through an outstanding sample of qawwali. Shahen Shah is the twenty-third album by Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan that I have added to my collection. In hindsight, it should have been one of the first, as for me it ranks highly as some of his best work.

Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (October 13, 1948 - August 16, 1997) a world famous Pakistani artist, has been mostly a singer of Qawwali, the devotional songs of the Sufis (a mystical classical within Islam). One among the best performers ever recorded, he can perform at a active of intensity for a lot of hours. Extending the Six Hundred year old Qawwali classical of his family, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan is greatly awarded with introducing Sufi music to worldwide viewers. He was popularly called i", meaning "The King of Kings of Qawwali"
