Deepest Shade of Techno, Vol. 1-2. 1996.

The Berlin-based duo Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, aka Booka Shade, return to Bedrock to unveil their second EP for John Digweeds imprint. Coming from one of the finest pioneering electronic music acts of the past two decades, their excitedly awaited Understanding EP does not disappoint. Opening with the dark, enticing percussive pulse of Understanding, the masterful duo lay down a work of art that invokes the spirit of classic house music with its distinctive vocal samples, bedded perfectly on an exceptional spine-tingling Techno groove. Genre blurring electronic music at its finest.

The Deep End, Volume 1 is the fourth studio album by American rock band Gov't Mule. The album was released on October 23, 2001, by ATO Records and Evangeline Records. After the death of founding member and bass guitarist Allen Woody, the band considered breaking up. Instead, remaining members Warren Haynes and Matt Abts recorded several songs with bass players Woody had admired. So many musicians wanted to participate that the band ended up recording two albums worth of material

Now in his early thirties all those ideas are going to come out. Early this year he finally put pen to paper so to speak and wrote, The Deepest Shade of Blue. Set in the vast and beautiful city of San Diego it brings into the picture a new type of male lead that of a magician. Not only does he seem to have looks, this dark man also has power of a whole different kind. Keep a look out for his up and coming title. The Darkest Shade of Green.
