Of One Blood is the second studio album by Shadows Fall, released on April 4, 2000. On this release, the band improved the sometimes muddy and ill-defined production of their debut, Somber Eyes to the Sky. This was the band's first release on Century Media Records, featuring Brian Fair on vocals (replacing Philip Labonte). This is also the last album featuring the drummer David Germain, and the last album of the melodic death metal era of Shadows Fall

FIRST BLOOD : n. Straight-forward, metal-edged hardcore mosh : Pissed-off lyrics : In-your-face message : Formed in 2002 in the legendary San Francisco Bay Area. California USA. "We just wanted to play brutally aggressive music that was right to the point so kids could kill each other on the dancefloor, scream-along, and vent their frustrations" states frontman Carl Schwartz about the band's early, no-frills attitude. Followed shortly by their 2004 split 7" Dead Man's Hand Series EP with Blacklisted via Deathwish Inc, the path would soon be paved for a full-length First Blood studio release. Upon the release of their 2006 debut album entitled "Killafornia", First Blood would soon light radar screens across 30+ countries around the world, with countless tours across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Europe, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, South America, China, South East Asia, and beyond.

Reign in Blood opens and closes with slightly longer tracks (the classics "Angel of Death" and "Raining Blood") whose slower riffs offer most of the album's few hints of melody. Sandwiched in between are eight short (all under three minutes), lightning-fast bursts of aggression that change tempo or feel without warning, producing a disjointed, barely controlled effect.

Where First Blood miss the most is the fact that they don't bring anything new. I think we can also say that the album only have five songs. This is a kind of deception, because you will want more believe me. Conclusion This album was a total suprise for m. his album is good from the beginning to the end. I think it is a must for any fans of good hardcore. It have nice vocal, great instruments work and excellent lyrics. It is also really cheap and it is really worth your money. I can't wait for a full album by First Blood,I think this ep is a great first taste of this amazing band
