Jimmy Logan OBE, FRSAMD (born April 4, 1928, Dennistoun, Glasgow, Scotland, UK– died April 13, 2001, Clydebank, West Dunbartonshire, Scotland, UK) was a Scottish performer, producer, impresario and director.

Jimmy Logan, (4 April 1928 - 13 April 2001), born James Short in Dennistoun, Glasgow, Scotland was an Entertainer, theatre owner, producer, director, and actor. Logan was part of a family of entertainers beginning with his parents who were the music hall act Short and Dalziel. His aunt from whom he took his stage surname, was Ella Logan, star of Broadway musicals. His sister, Annie Ross (1930- ) is an actress and jazz singer. Educated at Gourock High School, Inverclyde, Logan left at age 14 for the theatre.

Broken Bells is the self-titled debut album from Broken Bells, consisting of James Mercer of indie rock band The Shins with producer and t Brian Burton (aka Danger Mouse), and was released on March 9, 2010. In 2011 Broken Bells was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album at the 53rd Grammy Awards. After forming in 2009, Broken Bells released their eponymous debut studio album, Broken Bells, in March 2010.

The Bells is the ninth solo studio album by American musician Lou Reed, released in April 1979 by Arista Records. It is recorded in binaural sound. Several songs on the album are the product of a short-lived writing partnership between Reed and Nils Lofgren. Other of the team's work appeared on Nils' eponymous album of the same year

Logan was born in Dennistoun, Glasgow, a member of a family of entertainers; the tradition began with his parents who were the music hall act Short and Dalziel. His aunt, from whom he took his stage surname, was Broadway performer Ella Logan. His sister is actress and singer Annie Ross, and his brother is vocalist Buddy Logan.
