My name is Jon Fuller and I make music. I released a, P called The Art of Denial this past August and I'm currently in the writing stages for my second full-length album, hopefully to be released in the summer of 2019.

Reluctant New Yorker, enthusiastic pianist and singer. His next album, The Art of Denial, will be released on June 15 of this year. Classically trained in piano for ten years and in voice for four, Jon graduated from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, New York with a degree in music. When not performing his own music, he is also passionate about opera and musical theatre: in 2012, he premiered the role of the Sutradahr in the new opera Agni Varsha by Bollywood legend Vanraj Bhatia, and he also musically directed the premiere of the 2007 version of Damon Intrabartolo's bare.

Part of his new album, The Art Of Denial, the song is filled with simple melodrama, exposing it’s hidden melancholy behind pop production. It’s nothing new, with the singer carrying underlying sentiments. Jon Fuller’s voice expands and contracts, honeyed and affectionate on the piano harmonies and at times being rich and velvetine. The lyrics come off as a desperate cry for connection masking itself behind triumphant guitars. Jon Fuller touches on an the idea that people, too, can live more than one existence in parallel, always aware of their diametric opposite. His voice is sweet, nothing but his breath and guitar strings transforming sounds to offer relief on stored energies. No doubt the instrumental is of impeccable quality with the thundering crashes on the piano breaking the natural limits of the acoustics, making for a sleek production.

Опубликовано: 18 мар. 2019 г. One of the aspects of The Art of Denial I'm the proudest of are the arrangements - they're intricate and multilayered, and John Lagomarsino and I put in a lot of time and effort to make each part play nicely with the next. To showcase this, John put together a screencap video showing how that arrangement came together; how my keyboard riff melds with his brass arrangement, and just how many tracks in Logic it takes to make a song like this come alive.
