Dedication is the second studio album by British electronic producer Zomby, released on 11 July 2011 through 4AD. The album's first single "Natalia's Song" was embroiled in controversy in early 2012.

His first proper album, 2009's Where Were U in '92?, even ditched dubstep entirely to recreate the unruly spirit of the genre's ancestor, hardcore rave. Although it's barely longer than some of his EPs, Dedication is being sold as Zomby's second album, and it's also the strangest, most low-key, and least dance-friendly record he's released yet.

From 2007 through 2009, Zomby issued a deeply concentrated yet somewhat whimsical blast of singles and EPs on Ramp, Hyperdub, and Brainmath. He also released an album of breakbeat rave-not-rave on Werk Discs, the label operated by the equally hard to classify producer Actress. His next move, then, could have gone in a number of different directions without being the least bit startling. On the other hand, Dedication is something of an event.

Zomby - Dedication I want to say that Zomby's Dedication confounds expectations, but when "surprising" is par for the course, how does one deal with expectations? Dedication arrives not on previous homes Hyperdub or RAMP but indie mega 4A. The result could have been an album so mournful as to lose itself in self-serious introspection, but Dedication's brief track lengths mean the album is breezy in a manner unbefitting of its ostensibly grave subject matter. As one track flows into the next-again a reversal of the usual Zomby ethos of all jarring, all the time-Dedication ceases to be a jittery collection of sketches.

Thought I‘d be the first one to have noticed. All the reviews down below are true!! Ever since I had this record i played it at 33/3rpm. And it‘s absolutely brilliant! Definitly ranks top at my place! If those produced this album 44rpm know what masterpiece they’ve created when played 33/3?
