Introduction (Live (Birthday Concert in Rome)) by Ella Fitzgerald. Continuing her conquest in live recording, the most appropriate day of rElla to record another concert would indeed have been her birthday and Norman Granz-producer of this record as well as her manager-waqsn't about to pass it up. You think the two Berlin concerts were hot? This one was smoking all the way and Ella knew from the first downbeat that she had her audience right where she wanted them.
