It was their first album under the name Chicago (the band's prior name, Chicago Transit Authority, was changed due to a threatened lawsuit from the Chicago Transit Authority) and the first to use the now ubiquitous cursive Chicago logo on the cover

It wasn't a bad record to begin with, one on which the Chicago style was applied to seasonal standards. As ever, the group was a cooperative unit, with the three lead singers - Robert Lamm, Bill Champlin, and Jason Scheff - taking turns on the different songs, arranged by various bandmembers and always allowing for generous contributions by the horn players Lee Loughnane, James Pankow, and Walt Parazaider.

Learn about the history of . space exploration and take peek inside the tiny Gemini 12 capsule (which took two astronauts to space and back) in the Mission Moon exhibition. Then head over to the museum’s Grainger Sky Theater, which uses multiple projectors to screen immersive films on a 70-foot-diameter dome. What is it: Not so long ago this vibrant museum was the stodgy ol' Chicago Historical Society, which let you cull through thousands of archived photographs and curio. That library still exists, but joining it are several permanent and temporary exhibits, the largest of which is "Chicago: Crossroads of America," a treasure trove of historical objects, including a chunk of the original Fort Dearborn.

The song is about "excess in America". It’s basically a song about the dark underbelly of the American dream and about excess in America, which is something we knew a lot about, Henley said in a 2002 interview with "60 Minutes. In 2003, Crowe revealed in "Conversations with Don Henley and Glenn Frey," which was part of the liner notes for the Eagles' compilation album "The Very Best Of," that "Hotel California" was originally going to be titled "Mexican Reggae.
