Between the Leaves is the sole release by Norwegian one-album wonders D�j�-Vu With a lineup including two ex-members of H�st (Knut Lie on drums and Svein R�nning on guitar) and the late Kai Gr�nlie on lead vocals, it's a legendary rarity due to originally only being released as a small.

The Leaves were an American garage rock band formed in San Fernando Valley, California in 1964. They are best known for their version of the song "Hey Joe", which was a hit in 1966. Theirs is the earliest release of this song, which became a rock standard. The band was founded by bass player Jim Pons and guitarist Robert Lee Reiner, who were inspired by hearing The Beatles while students at Cal State Northridge in Los Angeles

DEJA-VU is a mid seventies Hard Prog band from Norway. The music crosses crunchy guitar vamps with melodic sequences overlaid with lots of keyboards and plenty of monophonic synth leads. Musically, the band seems to take their influences from both the hard rock school and the English symphonic rock masters between DEEP PURPLE and YES. This is a good example of 70's Norwegian prog. The one album they made only got the tiniest of test-pressings on vinyl back in 1976, packaged only in a plain white cover. It’s probably the rarest Norwegian prog item, and was exclusively a luxury for wealthy collectors up until its CD reissue in the 90’s.
