Ne Obliviscaris (Latin for "forget not") are a six-piece progressive metal band from Melbourne. Formed initially as a four-piece in April 2003, the group was founded by Xenoyr and Adam Cooper. The current line-up comprises vocalist Xenoyr, violinist and clean vocalist Tim Charles, guitarists Matt Klavins and Benjamin Baret, bassist Martino Garattoni and drummer Daniel Presland. To date, the band has released a demo, two extended plays and three studio albums.

Opening Ne Obliviscaris album, Portal of I is the song, Tapestry of the Starless Abstract. Straight away you are faced some rather amazing Chuck Schuldiner from Death styled vocals which really show the true character of Xenoyr, the lead vocalist. As the song progresses you hear the clean vocals of Tim Charles, the contrast of the two vocalists is good but could be improved.
