Tázló band performs csángó folk music which is as strong and immersive as the Tázló river from Moldva. Our aim is to acquaint people with the Moldavian csángó folk music and dances. Hungarian folk music (Magyar Népzene) includes a broad array of Central European styles, including the recruitment dance verbunkos, the csárdás and nóta. The name Népzene is also used for Hungarian folk music as an umbrella designation of a number of related styles of traditional folk music from Hungary and Hungarian minorities living in modern-day Austria, the, Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia, central Romania (Transylvania) (Székely), Moldova (Csángó), and Serbia.

Együttesünk 1993 októberében alakult azzal a szándékkal, hogy a történelmi Magyarország határain kívül élő moldvai magyarság zenéjét, hagyományait megismerje és minél többekkel megismertesse. A moldvai csángó népzene hitelesen megszólaltatásán túl fontosnak tartjuk az új szintézis teremtését, mely az anyagok értelmezése és újrafogalmazása során keletkezik. Számainkat ezért szinte kivétel nélkül feldolgozásnak tekintjük, noha mindegyik törzsét az eredeti népzene adja. Lemezünket eddigi munkánk, tapasztalataink összegzéseként bocsátjuk közre.
Ezúton szeretnénk megköszönni az évek során kapott sok-sok szakmai és baráti segítséget Balogh Sándornak, Havasréti Pálnak, illetve a Tatros együttes tagjainak, valamint a lemez kiadásához nyújtott anyagi támogatást az Ezredforduló Alapítványnak.
