New England is an American rock band who were best known in the US for their first single, "Don't Ever Wanna Lose Ya", which received heavy radio exposure on Album-oriented rock (AOR) stations and reached on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1979. The follow up "Hello, Hello, Hello" also received some airplay. New England described their sound as ng-song-oriented rock".

New England was an obscure American AOR band who was discovered by KISS' producer. The band released their debut self titled album in 1979, and this album, The Explorer Suite, the next year. The band has two obvious influences: KISS and Queen. The sugar coated and pop covered production of the album makes for great radio hits, but makes for scratchy ears for any prog fan. It is far fetched to call the band Crossover Prog in general, and this album accentuates any negating argument to the band's progressiveness

New England is the debut album by the American rock band New England. The group was best known for the song "Don't Ever Wanna Lose Ya", which received heavy radio exposure on Album-oriented rock (AOR) stations and reached the Top 40 in 1979. Hello, Hello, Hello" also received some airplay. The debut album was released on Infinity Records INF-9007. The quartet formed in the Boston area and was discovered by manager Bill Aucoin, who also managed Kiss.

New England signed to a new record company and released their 2nd album "Explorer Suite", but it got very little support. In 1980, record companies turned their back on classic rock in favor of new-wave. New England released the prog-rock epic "Explorer Suite" as their next single, but unfortunately prog-rock was all but dead. IMO, this song was the best song on the album, but I think they should have released "Conversation", "Living In The Eighties", or "Honey Money"

New England was an American rock band that was mainly active from 1978-1982. The group moved to Elektra Records for their second album, Explorer Suite. That album garnered almost no notice however the first single was the.
