The music of the video games Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II was composed by regular series composer Nobuo Uematsu, who would go on to be the exclusive composer for the next seven Final Fantasy games. Although they were composed separately, music from the two games has only been released together. All Sounds of Final Fantasy I,II, a compilation of almost all of the music in the games, was released by DataM/Polystar in 1989, and subsequently re-released by NTT Publishing in 1994.

Final Fantasy arranged albums, such as orchestrated remixes, piano collections, unofficial projects, and other such releases, have always captivated Uematsu fans worldwide. None of this, however, can compare to the sense of awe and nostalgia that came from hearing classical Final Fantasy pieces put to lyrics. The combined talents of Nobuo Uematsu and Lisa Ooki formulate to create what could be the most artistic use of video game music ever with the "Final Fantasy Vocal Collection" two disc series  . The titular track of the second Vocal Collection, "Love Will Grow", is great not only as an arranged Final Fantasy piece, but as a very believable song as well.

It's richer than the other FF arranged CDs; the tracks may not make as strong or immediate an impression at first, but their beauty is far deeper - you discover more and get more out of the CD with each play

I've been a Final Fantasy fan since I was in fourth grade - played the US version of FF3 and fell in love with the series. Adventure, magic, monsters, amazing graphics (for the time), and wonderful music. Music has always been a core component helping the game developers tell their story, and as such they have worked hard to make sure that it is enjoyable. If you are a fan of Final Fantasy or looking at this for a fan of Final Fantasy, which is what probably brought you to this page to begin with, you can't go wrong with the album. Album Before Meteor: Final Fantasy XIV Original Soundtrack. I close my eyes, tell us why must we suffer Release your hands, for your will drags us under My legs grow tired, tell us where must we wander How can we carry on if redemption's beyond us? To all of my children in whom Life flows abundant To all of my children to whom Death hath passed his judgement The soul yearns for honor, and the flesh the hereafter Look to those who walked before to lead those who walk after.

The music of the video game Final Fantasy IV was composed by regular series composer Nobuo Uematsu. The Final Fantasy IV Original Sound Version, a compilation of almost all of the music in the game, was released by Square C. NTT Publishing, and subsequently re-released by NTT Publishing. It was released in North America by Tokyopop as Final Fantasy IV Official Soundtrack: Music from Final Fantasy Chronicles, with one additional track.
