Replicas is the second and final studio album by English new wave band Tubeway Army, released in April 1979 by Beggars Banquet Records. It followed their self-titled debut from the previous year. After this, Tubeway Army frontman Gary Numan would continue to release records under his own name, though the musicians in Tubeway Army would continue to work with him for some time

Replicas is an album by the British band Tubeway Army, released in 1979. It was the second and final Tubeway Army LP, following a self-titled debut the previous year. After this, Tubeway Army frontman Gary Numan would continue to release records under his own name, though the musicians in Tubeway Army would continue to work with him for some time.

The pioneering Electronic album Replicas are re-issued as Gary Numan & Tubeway Army - Replicas Redux. The CD includes the single 'Are 'Friends' Electric?', which gave Numan his first simultaneous Number 1 single and album when Replicas joined it at the top of the charts a few weeks later.
