Econoline Crush is NOT Canada's answer to Nine Inch Nails. I've been a fan since '95 when I bought 'Affliction' and 'Purge'. This disk really takes the band in a new, truly original direction. The Devil You Know is EC at their peak, before Robbie left the band and they resorted to Kid Rock's producer. Sylvia Massy, the producer here, was the perfect choice for this record's mind-boggling, intricately layered sound.
