I am proud to unveil "unIndian II" by the pedestrian This is his first album in 13 years. In 1998, pedestrian and I hopped on a greyhound and set off to San Francisco to start a record label called Anticon. For him to want to put this album out through Black Box Tapes is a huge honor. Anyone who digs my music and lyrics will love this album.

Pedestrian toured across the United States and Europe with Sole, Dosh and Telephone Jim Jesus in promotion of the album. In a 2003 interview, Pedestrian talked about his influence and rapping style: "I was mostly into fast rapping and freestyling, and I was really inspired too by a lot of vocalese-Annie Ross, Jon Hendricks, and Eddie Jefferson especially.
