This is the first time The BEATLES (‘White Album’) has been remixed and presented with additional demo recordings. To create the new stereo audio mixes for ‘The White Album,’ Giles Martin and Sam Okell worked with an expert team of engineers and audio restoration specialists at Abbey Road Studios in London. This 4LP Deluxe ‘White Album’ release includes Martin’s new stereo album mix, sourced directly from the original four-track and eight-track session tapes. Martin’s new mix is guided by the album’s original stereo mix produced by his father, George Martin.

Behaviour (Pet Shop Boys album). Behaviour (released as Behavior in the United States) is the fourth studio album by English synth-pop duo Pet Shop Boys. It was released on 22 October 1990 by Parlophone.

Employing an Abbey Road orchestra and hiring Johnny Marr for some Hollywood guitar seems a familiar Pet Shop Boys maneuver, and when Neil Tennant tops it off with some sardonic lyrics, "Beautiful People" becomes a pleasingly comfortable gift for any fan thrown by Fundamental's action committee attitude. Did You See Me Coming" is the exhilarated infatuation of "I Wouldn't Normally Do This Sort of Thing" all over again, while "King of Rome" is the spitting image of the duo's 1987 chestnut "King's Cross.

As well as the remastered album with original track-listing, the ‘Further listening’ album of additional material features previously unreleased demos entitled ‘Vocal’, ‘She pops’ and ‘In slow motion’, as well as PSB mixes and remixes of ‘Leaving’ and ‘Memory of the future’. The 2CD format is packaged with an extensive booklet in which Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe discuss each song, illustrated with many archive photographs.

Notes

White label bootleg in picture sleeve.
Poor audio quality.

Track B5 is an early instrumental version of "This Must Be the Place I Waited Years to Leave", recorded in 1988 as part of the Pet Shop Boys' aborted bid to score The Living Daylights movie.

The sleeve also lists "James Bond #2" in position B6, but this demo is not on the vinyl.

Talk about Pet Shop Boys - Abbey Road Demos

Dranar
sound is indeed poor. Taken from several generation down cassette tape by the sounds of it.
Ferri - My name
Good to hear the early demos as some quite different to later versions. Quality of recordings are poor though - sound is not great, quite muffled. Looks good in collection as cover is nice.
