The number of sons mentioned by name in the Hebrew Bible is 19. In addition, two further unnamed sons are recorded as having been born in Jerusalem, one, probably both, having died in infancy. One of these was the first child born of David's adulterous relationship with Bathsheba. Only one of David's daughters, Tamar, is mentioned by name.

Is There Anybody Out There?" is a song from the Pink Floyd album, The Wall. The first half of the piece has the same concept of "Hey You", being a distress call from Pink. The shrill siren-like sound effect used during this song is also used in an earlier Pink Floyd work, "Echoes".

Is there anybody out there? Is there anybody out there? Is there anybody out there? Ah, is there anybody out there?. About Is There Anybody Out There? In questioning whether anybody is out there, Pink begins to realize the expansiveness of his wall and the consequences of his self-imposed reclusion. The track would later name a live album of The Wall tour. What have the artists said about the song? Is There Anybody Out There is really just a mood piece.

More than anything, Is There Anybody Out There? captures the volume, the bombast, and the grandeur of these famed performances with remarkable accuracy. Meticulously recorded, these concerts are astonishingly faithful to the band's studio versions and flow out of the speakers with practiced authority and absolutely fantastic sound. That said, there are few new revelations to be gained from hearing The Wall live that can't be gleaned from the studio version. Pink Floyd's eleventh studio album The Wall was released in December of 1979 and is a classic and regarded as the band's most ambitious masterwork. This double album ranks up there with other noted classic rock double studio albums like The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, Tommy, Exile on Main Street, Quadrophenia, Blonde on Blonde, London Calling, The White Album, Physical Graffiti, Electric Ladyland and many others.

The group devised ways to appear during the second half before the wall was torn down at the end - David Gilmour played his "Comfortably Numb" solo on hydraulics, above the wall, and a hotel room with Waters brooding in a chair appeared during "Nobody Home. Nevertheless, the importance of the group, as such, was diminished.

Check it out for understated acting and writing. David Morrissey played one of the leads in the TV series "State of Play" which is now a film with Russell Crowe and Helen Mirren.

The reception to the album has been mixed. Jason Lipschutz of Billboard. said that the album is "as uniformly earnest as the sombre lead" single "Say Something," but also has songs that offered "quirky optimism and snappy tempo.

Bored and increasingly obsessed with death, he is abruptly brought out of his morbid shell by the arrival of The Amazing Clarence (Michael Caine) an anarchic retired magician

The 1999 live album was named after this track. Never released on a single or one of the extended-play promo discs, this is another one of the deep album cuts which propels the narrative forward. Throughout most of production, the dark, eerie Is There Anybody Out There? was sequenced as the first track on Side 3, the second half of the album. Hey, You was sequenced after Comfortably Numb until very late in production. As released, the song is composed of two sections. The first section opens with a droning synth bass note. The lyric Is there anybody out there? is repeated four times. The eerie, seagull-like sound effects are very similar to the whale song effects David Gilmour used previously in the band’s song ‘Echoes’. In early production demos, there were two reprises of a sort between Bring The Boys Back Home and The Doctor.
