Himself is the debut album by Irish singer-songwriter Gilbert O'Sullivan, first released in the United Kingdom in August 1971 by MAM Records, following the success of the Top 10 hit "Nothing Rhymed", which features on the album. It was produced by Gordon Mills, whom O'Sullivan had contacted after failing to achieve success for three years.

1975-6 Australian WRC 5th [at least] pressing, sourced from original stampers and featuring unique sleeve art. Issued in two separate non-flipback sleeves. Unusually for the time, the sleeve art has been updated, with the new numbers on both sleeve (as R 00246 and "R 00247") and labels (as "R-00246" and "R-00247"). The old numbers (S-4221 and S-4222) are only seen as part of the matrix numbers on the labels. Same runouts as first pressing. Laminate strip present down the back of the right side of the sleeve.
