Incredible atmosphere and songwriting by these guys, they have it down on their first album. Every track works perfectly, even the 2 minute "Floating" does a great job in providing a spacey atmosphere. Matthew St. Pierre Never thought I would listen to anything this synth-heavy and enced, but Mesarthim is absolutely incredible. They create the atmosphere of space so well and they are masters of beautiful melodies.

Mesarthim chooses very common progressions that may have been used in every early 2000's radio pop song, especially in the song "Abyss. This doesn't take away from the music, however, because these happier progressions aren't common in black metal, and it makes the album unique. I love the opening riff in "Isolate. Which brings me to Australia's Mesarthim and their debut album ‘Isolate’.
