Brighton five-piece Squid have a detached, astral sound that feels like a more aggressive spin on the funky post-punk of Television and Talking Heads. The Dial has a playful yet anarchist darkness. It’s an angular groove that explodes into a spacey crash, and lead singer Ollie Judge’s vocals plunge in and out of a forceful, rasping screech.

Limited and Numbered to 250 Copies. Squid are a Brighton-based 5 piece who met at the city’s University. The Dial is a song that’s existed in the bands live set for a while, and after label-head-honcho Dan Carey saw the band play live he thought he could help along with the band give it a fresh. Squid pull the first big crowd of the day to the rising stage, their wonky noise-pop is intensely rowdy while drenched in excellent hooks and singalong moments. They reward the crowd with one of the most pleasing sets of the da. - Bristol Live Magazine.

This track is the epitome of the aversion of post modern pastiche in the 21st century. Ruddy perfect

I'm with you Inkstep. Not since the under-appreciated works of Hugh Nankivell have I heard such a cacophony of sounds married to such a clearly politically-lampooning agenda. Top marx

I've heard they're some good looking boys too. Hot stuff.
