Good album of Vaughn Monroe classics. Good bargain for the amount of songs, but they do tend to sound a lot alike after a while. Very smooth, so don't listen if you have to stay awake and alert, but still very well-done. My sister and I would listen to Vaughn Monroe on the radio while doing the supper dishes. Vaughn Monroe has a very distinctive voice with a good baritone range, and he had a fine dance band orchestra. Many of the songs on the CDs are ones I can try to sing along with, because I remember the words and music as Vaughn Monroe sang them. I didn't remember that "Red Roses for a Blue Lady" was a Vaughn Monroe song.
