A great combo for Philippe Sarde and Roman Polanski fans alike. The TESS score is simply stunning. Beautifully composed, orchestrated and performed. I could close my eyes and can clearly remember scenes as the music flows. THE TENANT score, a bit less well known (did it even get an LP release during its initial release?) is moody, edgy, frightening and equally brilliant at evoking various scenes. It also has a great title sequence theme. Now, here's hoping that Polanski's PIRATES, also scored by Philippe Sarde, gets a CD treatment it deserves. Wonderful release of Sarde'smusic. TESS is a fantastic film and his score only adds to its appeal.
