The songs on this debut album are both overt and open, allowing the listener space within dynamic, folk subtlety and layered instrumentation. The current band, led by Matt Leavitt (vox/guitars/keys), includes members of other venerable Twin Cities bands including Robert Mulrennan (guitars), Justin Hartke (bass), and Dan Choma (Drums).

The recording process for Two Drunks, began in earnest in early 2009, in the now vacant Better Weather Studios, overlooking the sanguine streets of Saint Paul, MN. By the guiding hand of producer Tor Johnson, the arrangements flourished and developed organically; melding melodic, song-based content with swirling, analog layers. The songs on this debut album are both overt and open, allowing the listener space within dynamic, folk subtlety and layered instrumentation
