Years may have passed since it's original release (almost a decade) but Olive's message endures even though they do not. It is difficult to understand why they went away after this album but fortunately, the work speaks for itself. Songs like "Indulge Me" and "Push" are absolutely devastating in their beauty. The orchestrations in the latter underline and emphatically highlight a message no listener can turn away from.

Redirected from Trickle (album)). Trickle is the second and most recent album from English trip hop band Olive. Following the band's debut album Extra Virgin and a subsequent promotional tour, keyboard programmer Robin Taylor-Firth left the band. Also during this time the UK arm of record label RCA lost interest in supporting the band; as a result, Olive was dropped from the RCA roster.

In 2000, their second album Trickle was released. The album was more dance-oriented, and a cover of the 10cc song "I'm Not in Love" reached number one on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. The song also featured on the soundtrack to The Next Best Thing. From that point on the band's profile became lower and the band entered an extended hiatus. Kellett focussed on songwriting for other artists so that he could spend more time with his family Discography.

Love this album. this is one of the best examples of when the public overlooks a great album for whatever reason. Its a shame this didnt take off as it could have made Olive a household name. Love the subtle melodies and tunes of all the songs. My faves are Trickle and Indulge Me. That said this is one of the albums I wouldnt think of skipping any track.
