The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Original Game Soundtrack. 1 2 3 4 5. Jeremy Soule. Jeremy Soule - Dragonborn: Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim. Jeremy Soule - Skyrim Atmospheres.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Official Soundtrack features a fully orchestrated, original score, similar to Oblivion. The soundtrack has strong similarities with previous games in the series, including the main theme. There's nothing to dislike about this album. Over three hours worth of Skyrim music.

Album · 2011 · 53 Songs. In acclaimed action RPG The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, players are charged with defending the world by defeating the epic dragon prophesied to bring apocalypse. Jeremy Soule’s score is equally epic, its massive choirs ( Dragonborn ) and mystical string ballads ( From Past to Present ) stirring feelings of valor while its pianos and harps ( Secunda ) conjure magical vibes. Harkening to other mythological soundtracks, such as those for the Lord of the Rings films, the music of the colossal world of Skyrim is the cornerstone of its fantastical, unforgettable adventure

CD4 01. - Skyrim Atmospheres (42:35).

Jeremy Soule’s music has been an iconic part of many classic games, but the Elder Scrolls series is certainly the most notable. That includes both mods and full games, whether they’re released for free or commercially. Soule’s not going full open-source with the music – I still maintain this IP, he says on Twitter – but he’s offering the chance to use the music for anything gaming-related. Talk about Jeremy Soule - The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Runeshaper
Aside from the fact that we all got hit super hard with blatantly false advertising (final record design barely looks anything like the rendered photos from pre-orders; the color accents look neon instead of dark shades) this set didn't come out terribly bad. My specific box set came with some records whose designs actually turned out pretty damn nice, although I wish the engraving on side H was easier to see. The box is nice and sturdy, everything printed high resolution and the artwork is absolutely beautiful in person. As for the music... Meh. Don't get me wrong, this is one of my favorite albums of all time of any genre, but I don't feel this pressing does the music justice. It still sounds great, but the dynamic range clearly wasn't touched at all (such a shame considering it would sound 10x better if it was re-mastered for vinyl) and in my particular set the audio ranged wildly from completely clean sounding, to pops every 0.5 seconds, to static hissing, to minor scratches, to all at the same time! I'm not sure what the hell is going on here, perhaps it just needs a good wet cleaning, but I've heard MUCH better "straight out of the box" from many other records. I think it might have something to do with the different colors mixing, especially since it's worse in those particular areas. While I'm super happy to own this on vinyl, with the borderline-gross record design and surface noise I'm not sure if I'm happy about this purchase. They're definitely both bad enough for me to remove a star. I will update this when I wet clean it. This specific design is kind of a "only so much can you do" sort of thing in mass production, and I think a bit overly-ambitious. Since I doubt any of the other pressings were mastered or cut differently, I would say save your money for one of the better looking variants.

Haven't clean mine yet but I couldn't agree more. Was very excited for a deeper green/gold contrast and instantly let down at the bogg green mess. Wonder if the sapphire version has the same problems (color and sound wise).
