Omar Rodriguez is the self-titled second solo album by The Mars Volta guitarist Omar Rodríguez-López and the first in the "Amsterdam series" (written and recorded in the city in early June 2005). Most of the overdubs and mixing were done on the road in September 2005.

Another righteous YACHTing voyage offered by half uruguayan-half brazilian DJ and producer Rodd Rodriguez, one that never stops throwing firely grooves from his dusty, diverse and complex music library. While the first volume of the series presented a more contemporary approach (and sometimes coverted into a 21st Century electronic blanket) with 100% new AOR and Soft Rock grooves, this second installment brings up a fantastic batch of vintage yacht music, mostly stuffed with amazing and distinct funky fusiony sounds, all in a midtempo groove and mostly sparkled with a slightly cosmic touch that definitely catch us by the ears.
