NWOBHM, United-Kingdom (1992 - Virgin) Learn more. Take me to the open plains Let me drive along the desert road Break away the chains that blind you Now you're free to make it on your own Feel the engines burning hot Pounding out the sound A free man proud. My father used to work the seam far below the ground Digging for the coal to melt the steel But now he lies a twisted man one foot in the grave Just like the iron wheels that took him down. Just like the iron wheels that took him down.

Its a true Saxon album in every sense, heavy rockin, riff laden songs (Nighthunter/Get Down and Get Dirty) with decent singalong choruses (Forever Free) and some sterling guitar playing from Oliver & Quinn. Highlights a plenty, of the aforementioned songs,'Forever Free' is simply superb,a career highlighy, and the traditional historical track-'Iron Wheels',simply epic. Saxon were back and it was only going to get better. Contents. Additional musicians.
