Bob Blackburn was the son of local Seattle legend Bob Blackburn Sr. who was "the voice of The Sonics" for the early years of the NBA franchise radio broadcasts.

Green Monkey was the brainchild of local pop/punk genius/impresario Tom Dyer. The label has recently been resurrected by Monsieur Dyer and is re-issuing some of their classic catalog along with unheard studio offcuts.
