SOCIETY BURNING aren't a bad group at all, but there comes a time when the bandwagon's axle gives way and the entire posturing lot are tipped onto a convenient scrap heap to let fresh creativity re-evolve. NINE INCH NAILS defined the music of an (underground) generation, but unfortunately doing it first meant doing it best and very, VERY few of the groups who have followed the format meticulously have somehow got it right. They throw a hell of a lot of enthusiasm into their music and there's hooks a plenty - "Tactiq (Swineflesh Mix)" is fairly lean - decent, danceable.

The group was founded in Las Cruces, New Mexico as a side project of Daveoramma’s in 1991 by the moniker ‘The Watchmen’ (a tribute to the Alan Moore graphic novel). Shortly before the release of project’s first self produced work, Daveoramma brought on guitarist Boom chr Paige. They caught the attention of Chase of n records that same year
