On The Conjuring, French Power Metal act Elvenstorm have managed to maintain their aggression and passion, while leveling up both the album production and overall execution of their performances. Vocalist Laura Ferreux is in top shape, and will more than please fans of the more aggressive female Power Metal vocalists such as Melissa Martin, or the various Battle Beast singers. Fans of the Edenbridge, Nightwish camp will be left standing alone in the cold, as Elvenstorm’s sound is much more rooted in Traditional Metal than the now common operatic styles
