Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols. Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols is the only studio album by English punk rock band the Sex Pistols, released on 28 October 1977 by Virgin Records. The album has influenced many bands and musicians, and the industry in general. In particular, the album's raw energy, and Johnny Rotten's sneering delivery and "half-singing", are often considered game-changing

Never Mind the Bollocks perfectly articulated the frustration, rage, and dissatisfaction of the British working class with the establishment, a spirit quick to translate itself to strictly rock & roll terms. The album debuted at number in the UK in 1977. At the time, it didn’t sell nearly as well in in US – taking 10 years to reach gold status – but its impact and ultimate legacy on both sides of the Atlantic was undeniable. In a wide-ranging Yahoo Music/Backspin interview from early last year, guitarist Steve Jones called it the main album for kids to have if you were part of the new.

Holidays in the Sun" is a song by the English band the Sex Pistols. It was released on 14 October 1977 as the band's fourth single, as well as the advance single from their only album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols. A chart hit in the UK, the single proved to be the last with singer John Lydon for 30 years.

Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols (1977). The album has been released in different variations featuring different track listings. There have been two main versions, which were featured on double-album vinyl and CD. The biggest differences between the track lists is that the songs are re-arranged and version A features "I Wanna Be Me" and the Dave Goodman produced version of "Anarchy in the UK" while version B features "Watcha Gonna Do About It" and the Chris Thomas produced version of "Anarchy in the UK".

The Sex Pistols one and only true studio album. The legendary ‘Never Mind the Bollocks Here’s The Sex Pistols’. Sex Pistols Number 1. Now considered one of the greatest albums of all time, the importance and power of ‘Never Mind the Bollocks’ can not be disputed. There was nothing like it before (or since). Sid Vicious, who replaced original bassist Glen Matlock in February 1977, does not play on the album. Although rumour has it he appears somewhere in the mix on ‘Bodies’. With the exception of ‘Anarchy in the UK’ – which features Matlock – bass duties were supplied by Steve Jones. The album’s working title was ‘God Save The Sex Pistols’ but changed to the far superior ‘Never Mind the Bollocks, Here’s The Sex Pistols’. A catchphrase coined through Steve Jones.

By the time they recorded their lone 1977 album, Matlock had been bounced, replaced by the image-correct but utterly untalented (and ultimately group-dooming) Sid Vicious. Not a 10th as good as the singles, the album nontheless remains a bile-filled emblem of the times. Exclusive discount for Prime members. Sample this album Artist (Sample). No album says it the same way. This is not political song writing it's anger and frustration and saying it how it was for kids at that time and expressing it so vividly. I love it, crank up the volume and slip back in time.

this was SOMETHING ELSE. The first time I heard the Palmolive sample and instrumental, I started to actually CRY! I didn't get any sleep thanks to this fuckin' album.
