Sabotage is the sixth studio album by English rock band Black Sabbath, released in July 1975. It was recorded in the midst of litigation with their former manager Patrick Meehan and the stress that resulted from the band's ongoing legal woes infiltrated the recording process, inspiring the album's title. It was co-produced by guitarist Tony Iommi and Mike Butcher.

Black Sabbath : Sabotage,альбом, рецезия, трек-лист, mp3, тексты песен. This album is nothing short of a heavy metal masterpiece, in my opinion. Sabbath really redefined their sound and peaked with both this and their previous release, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath. One can hear layered guitars galore and a production that gives the entire album an "otherworldly" sound (and transports the listener entirely somewhere else indeed!) The album comes out swinging with "Hole in the Sky" which showcases all four members at the top of their craft.

Released July 28, 1975. About Sabotage 1 contributor. Sabotage’s cover art has garnered mixed reactions over the years and is regarded by some as one of the worst album covers in rock history. The inverted mirror concept was conceived by Graham Wright, Bill Ward’s drum tech who was also a graphic artist. The band attended what they believed was a test photo shoot for the album cover, thus explaining their choice of clothing. Said Ward: The only thing we didn’t discuss was what we’d all wear on the day of the shot. 5 Seconds of Summer Breaks Down "Valentine". Sabotage is widely considered the last great Ozzy Era album and also their heaviness record. About Sabotage 2 contributors.

Produced by Black Sabbath with Mike Butcher. Engineered by Mike Butcher/Robin Black. Tape Operator and saboteur: David Harris. This album says a lot to me. I must have listened to ir for the first time on 78 or 79 and I simply thought that it was the the most blacksabbathian album that I had ever heard. It’s heavy (Megalomania), it’s psycho-obsessive (Am I going insane?/radio) it’s balladeer (last part of The writ ), there is everything there. Talking about the balladistic side of Black Sabbath, no one sings ballads better than Ozzy Osbourne, I went to tears several times listening to him singing his ballads, such as Changes or that ballad part by the end of The Writ. Never Say Die, Sabotage and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath are musically Black Sabbath’s best albums. Geezer Butler is one of the greatest lyric writers and bass players in rock n roll. He is way underrated.

Black Sabbath’s 1975 album Sabotage was recorded at a time of turmoil for the band, and it showed in the eclectic mix of tracks. That direction was still evident on Sabotage, but it also included an acoustic song, a thrash metal song, and plenty of moments dark and heavy enough to remind the listener of their early work

Sabotage is the final release of Black Sabbath's legendary First Six, and it's also the least celebrated of the bunch, though most die-hard fans would consider it criminally underrated. What's more, the song structures generally feel less conventional and more challenging.
