Mint Car" is a song by English rock band The Cure, released as the second single from their tenth studio album Wild Mood Swings in June 1996. Robert Smith has stated in an interview that he thought this song was better than the British Top 10 hit "Friday I'm in Love". Smith said, "it was the single, and I thought it was a better song than 'Friday'. But it did absolutely nothing because we weren't the band at that time. The zeitgeist wasn't right.

The Cure is the twelfth studio album by British alternative rock band the Cure. The album was released on 29 June 2004 by record label Geffen, and promoted with the single "The End of the World". The album was entirely produced by American producer Ross Robinson, known for his work with bands like Korn, Slipknot, and Limp Bizkit

Music video by The Cure performing Mint Car. (C) 1996 Polydor Ltd. (UK). A sadly underrated album - some interesting experimentation on this one that they got slammed for. I think that the negative reaction to the WMS album scared them off taking so many chances in subsequent albums.
